Wellness Exams

Commit to a lifetime of health.

Because our priority is to ensure your pet is healthy, a wellness exam is performed at the time of vaccination.

As part of our commitment to promoting year-round preventive care, each wellness visit includes a doctor consultation. During this visit, we will discuss your pet’s behavior, appetite, exercise habits, and daily activities at home. This is also an ideal time to review any recommended diagnostic testing, address upcoming or due vaccinations, and evaluate your pet’s overall health status.

Even if your pet appears healthy, a wellness exam and consultation allow us to identify subtle changes, such as weight fluctuations or early signs of illness—that may not be noticeable at home. Early detection helps us address potential health concerns before they progress.

The doctor consultation is also an opportunity for you to ask questions or share any concerns about your pet. We welcome your questions—no concern is too small—and we are here to help you better understand your pet’s health and care needs.

Finally, wellness exams and consultations allow us to build a strong relationship with you and your pet. By getting to know your pet’s lifestyle, personality, environment, and potential health risks, we can provide more personalized and effective care. We encourage you to take an active role in your pet’s ongoing health and wellness.

At your pet's annual exam, your veterinarian will answer any questions you may have and discuss other services that could improve their overall health such as spay or neutering, microchipping, and dental care.

To schedule your pet's wellness exam, call us at (864) 814-0012 or request a wellness exam appointment online.
